At The Hank Haney International Junior Golf Academy, Matt created a highly successful sales and marketing team with unparalleled outreach and service. His dedication, enthusiasm and expertise led the IJGA to their highest enrollment in their twenty (20) years. Not only did Bashaw take the enrollment to a record high, he also developed, implemented and led a junior golf tour in Southeast Asia that spanned seven countries with over 2,000 participants in its inaugural year.
Matt again used his sales, marketing and operational expertise at Spire Academy to transform an existing community sports facility into a massive five-sport boarding academy that included basketball, volleyball, swimming, track & field and soccer. He created new programing to include full academic offerings for middle, high school, gap year and post-graduate students as well as summer and customized programs for part- and full-time attendees. Through his strategic alliances and partnerships that have included the United State Olympic Committee (USOC,) he was able to expand the academy internationally.
Having worked with both new and existing sports academies and organizations of all sizes, Matt is able to quickly streamline procedures, utilize his national and international referral network to increase enrollment, strengthen relationships with existing student families to increase re-enrollment and referrals, and determine the feasibility of new ventures.
